Hello! I'm Danielle Mercado, known under the psuedonym Kitsooki. I'm a freelance illustrator and character designer currently residing in Sandusky, Ohio. I was born and raised on Long Island, New York and went to school at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC where I acquired a BFA in Illustration in 2019. A love of fantasy, animals, nature, storytelling and character design has led me to pursue a career in illustration.
I started working professionally in 2014 and have grown my business and clientele since then! Bringing life to ideas and characters for various clients is my passion and I incorporate that passion into every project. I've produced work for a growing number of private clients and several public projects including character designs for a currently running comic titled System 17.
